Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with a surprising but beautiful view of Chatsworth. The service was impeccable, friendly, and accommodating, though there was a minor hiccup with a spilled drink. The location was perfect for exploring Chatsworth House, and the dining experience, while generally outstanding, had some issues with availability. The facilities were well-maintained and up to par with the high standards of the hotel.
The hotel offers Georgian and regal rooms with a tranquil view of the lovely green scenery of Chatsworth House. The spacious rooms with four-poster beds are luxurious and comfortable, embodying the essence of a country house hotel. On the downside, there were some issues with disorganization in the dining room and the dining options were not consistent in quality.
The hotel offers stunning views towards Chatsworth, but the walking distance may not suit everyone. The rooms are elegantly Georgian with a regal feel, providing a peaceful atmosphere overlooking the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The proximity to Chatsworth House is a major highlight, offering a pleasant walking distance through the scenic grounds and deer park.
The hotel had a fantastic lounge area with a fireplace, fridge, and generous tea/coffee/milk/biscuits, although it was a bit of a walk from the main hotel, up-and-down steps. Overall, my stay was fantastic.
